The Content Protect Appliance runs as a 2-port Switch (commonly referred to as a transparent Ethernet bridge) and normally sits inline between your gateway/firewall and LAN. All internet traffic passes through the Content Protect Appliance so we can inspect, provide activity reports, and manage all http/https/ssl communications.
